10 hours of every 60-hour module are a full-day immersion at IIT Hyderabad, building alongside faculty, labs and peers, shaping your module mini-project.

Get productive as an energy data analyst, working with real feeder, campus and asset data in Python notebooks.

01What exactly am I enrolling in?

A one-year professional certificate program in Energy Data Analytics & AI, offered by IIT Hyderabad. It comprises two modules: Energy Data Foundations (Module 1) and Applied Energy Analytics (Module 2).

02How is the program delivered?

Mostly online: live online sessions on Saturdays (11:00–13:00 IST) plus self-paced work, with one full-day, on-campus immersion per module at IIT Hyderabad. Each module is 60 hours: 20 live online, 20 self-paced, 10 immersion and 10 project work.

03What certificate do I receive?

A professional certificate from IIT Hyderabad on successful completion. High-scoring learners may receive an Honours / Distinction notation on the certificate.

No. Basic programming comfort helps, and essential fundamentals are refreshed just in time within the curriculum, so motivated learners from adjacent backgrounds can keep up.

The program is envisioned as an eight-module, multi-year roadmap. Admissions today are for the one-year certificate only; further modules are planned to be offered year on year.
