Course Contents: Remote Sensing - Overview, Electro-magnetic radiation (EMR), Radiation principles, Interaction of EMR with surface objects: spectral signatures, Satellites in remote sensing, Satellite data processing, interpretation, representation, Image enhancement and classification, Thermal infrared remote sensing, Micro-wave remote sensing, Remote sensing applications.
What you'll learn: At the end of this course, you will be able to understand the principles of remote sensing; how to acquire, process, interpret, and classify a remote sensing imagery; various applications of remote sensing; GIS principles, how to work with geographic datasets, and perform GIS processing, editing, and analysis.
